The first two unique options are whether you want notifications displayed in the Action Center (by default, this is enabled), and whether you want to hide notifications from appearing on the lock screen (by default, this is disabled). You can change whether banners are displayed (the same setting as “Display a Desktop Alert” in Outlook’s Options > Mail) or whether a sound is played (the same setting as “Play A Sound” in Outlook’s Options > Mail), but the other options are specific to the Notification & Actions panel. Step 2: In the popping up Reminder dialog box, click the Dismiss All button. If the Reminders dialog box pops up, skip to the next step. Regardless of your local mailbox size, all your mail is available from your Gmail account in the cloud. Uncheck it if you don’t want a notification box. This is necessary only if you want to store more than 1 GB of mail in your local Outlook mailbox. Check the Display a Desktop Alert box if you want a notification box to appear when you receive an email. The information displayed in a Desktop Alert varies depending on the item that you receive in your Inbox. Scroll down to the Message arrival section. By default, Desktop Alerts are turned on. Normally the Reminders dialog box comes out automatically when Microsoft Outlook starts. A Desktop Alert is a notification that appears on your desktop when you receive a new email message, a meeting request, or a task request. Scroll down the list of apps until you find “Outlook” and then click it to open the application’s Notification settings. In Outlook 20, please click the Reminders Window button on the View tab. You can set data-driven alerts on dashboards and views, but not story points. When data reaches important thresholds for your business, data-driven alerts automatically send email notifications to key people you specify. In the Settings menu (Windows+i keys), search for “Notifications” or, if you’re already looking at Focus Assist, choose “Notifications & Actions” from the left-hand menu. Send Data-Driven Alerts from Tableau Online or Tableau Server. In addition to Focus Assist, there are Outlook notification settings available in Windows. The Desktop Alert is an alert window that pops up when a new e-mail arrives in the Outlook default Inbox. This is useful if you want Focus Assist turned on only at certain times of the day or just weekdays and/or weekends. You can additionally customize “During These Times” by clicking on it and changing the time options.
